Getting there. Autzen has very little parking of its own and most of it is spoken for long before kickoff. Almost everybody arrives from the other side of the river: park on campus or downtown, then walk the footbridge over the Willamette and through Alton Baker Park. It is about fifteen minutes, it is the nicest part of the day, and it beats every alternative on the way out.
Bikes are the local answer. The riverside path runs most of the way there and there is somewhere to leave one at the end of it.
What to bring. Autzen is a clear-bag venue, so a clear plastic bag or a small clutch. Tickets live on your phone, so bring a charged one.
From October it rains, and the stadium has no roof over the seats. A rain shell you can wear is worth more than an umbrella, which is one more thing to argue about at the gate. Early-season games are the opposite problem — sun on aluminium, so bring water.
Parking, shuttles and the gate policy are set fresh each season. goducks.com carries this year's map and what you may bring through the gate.
